Michael’s Manna LLC is a full spectrum food service company that serves its clients in the area of private chef work, catering, opening chef work, chef consulting. MaestroChef’s Products is also a DBA under Michael’s Manna and provides original flavors (spices) for consumers, and high end food service operations.
The Sugar x Butter Company is a woman owned custom catering company in the city of Pittsburgh; Delivering delicious cakes and gourmet food for events of all sizes. Sisters, Meredith & Christine Galloway, have had the privilege of working together to provide custom event catering for weddings, birthdays and holidays for years. GG’s Cafe is currently part of the signature brand, operating in East Liberty, serving up classic, homestyle comfort foods in the community.
Flavors Famous Street Food is Pittsburgh’s first and only Chicago Style Street Food concept. Our menu was designed to bring popular street food eats from all over the United States to attract foodies. In 2019, we opened our doors to introduce Pittsburgh to the popular Italian beef sandwich, maxwell street polish sausage, gym shoe hoagie, pizza puffs, and barbecue hotlinks. These are all popular stables to the well-known street food cuisines from my hometown Chicago.
Founded in 2005, Dress for Success Pittsburgh was established to empower women to become self-sufficient and exit poverty. From our beginnings in a church basement serving 69 women the first year, we have grown to four branches serving five SW Pennsylvania counties and working with over 150 referral partners. Today, we provide clothing and employment readiness support to women across the region.
While we may be best known for providing suits and professional clothing to women, we are first and foremost an anti-poverty organization that focuses on providing a continuum of support and opportunities for vulnerable, low-income women to compete, advance, and support themselves and their families without the need to rely on public assistance.
We achieve our mission through providing suiting and uniform items for women. Women are referred to us who are currently interviewing or who have secured work and need appropriate clothing items. The women we serve work with suiting specialists to choose appropriate clothing for their needs. Additionally, during these consultations, women are provided with interview preparation skills.
