The Stepping Stone Pathways is a non-profit organization that assist single parents in post-secondary education with a holistic two-generation approach. We a developing an affordable multi-family housing unit (for-profit) to house our students from The Stepping Stone Pathways so that they can graduate on time.

The Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA) is a federated library system of 46 public libraries delivering service in more than 70 locations. Member Libraries include the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, which has 19 locations, and 45 other libraries and their branches located outside the City of Pittsburgh throughout Allegheny County. Each library is independent and has its own board of directors; as a consortium they share a countywide catalog, jointly offer downloadable books, audios, and videos as well as online databases, and provide a diverse calendar of programming events. The eiNetwork supports the automated library operations, Internet access, and free Wi-Fi services available at all county libraries. Through its coordination, ACLA expands the resources of local libraries beyond what they could accomplish individually.

The Homeless Children’s Education Fund (HCEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1999 to support the educational needs of children experiencing homelessness in Allegheny County. Over the years, HCEF’s role in the community has developed and expanded to meet these needs. HCEF relies on support from community foundations, corporations, and individuals and receives no governmental funding.

Our mission: To create an inclusive community in Pittsburgh for African American professionals of all ages; one that is realized across the nation.  We serve employers in the region by improving their ability to retain and attract African American professionals and their families.
