Our Vision
Pittsburgh Black Pride envisions the City of Pittsburgh to be a place where all members of the Black LGBTQIA+ community feel welcome, safe, and accepted for who they are.
Our Mission
The mission of Pittsburgh Black Pride is to provide entertainment, social information, and health education to Black Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, and Ally (LGBTQIA+) individuals and families in the City of Pittsburgh and across Southwest Pennsylvania.
Trying Together supports high-quality care and education for young children by providing advocacy, community resources, and professional growth opportunities for the needs and rights of children, their families, and the individuals who interact with them. Trying Together works regionally (in Southwestern Pennsylvania) and takes its expertise and models to statewide and national audiences.
We are a family based business who has been in the child care industry for over 20 years providing outstanding service. Our center provides age appropriate programs that are carefully designed for our children. We are licensed by the State of Pennsylvania and are rated a Star 4 facility.
Our mission is to consistently strive to provide the highest level of service to our children and their families. By nurturing growth and development, relationships and understanding, we believe children can achieve their full potential and become creative, independent, responsible, full-functioning, and self-directed adolescents and adults, who can make good decisions for themselves.
