Please be advised that an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for a construction project at the Schenley Park Cafe and Visitors Center, funded in part by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Gaming Economic Development Tourism grant program as managed by Allegheny County. The Request for Proposals/Bids will be released on Friday, November 8 and advertised in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Please note that proposals will be accepted up to Wednesday, December 13, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. and opened immediately thereafter.
The project consists of:
- Replacement of current cork flooring on the first floor of the facility with a more durable and historically appropriate flooring type.
- Replacement the current aging refrigerated display case with a smaller and more energy efficient case and extension of the front café counter to the new case.
Trades include carpentry, general labor, millwork/casegoods, plumbing, flooring, and electrical.
